Upcoming MCE Events

Resisting Climate Chaos - Series One: Nanotechnology on Feburary 22nd, 6:00pm at the William A. Kerr Foundation building.

Join MCE for our new engaging series "Resisting Climate Chaos: Connecting scientists, activists, and innovators." More than ever, the public needs to be informed of the potential of science to address the catastrophe of climate change. Because scientific facts now face distortion, dismissal, and replacement by “alternative facts,” our direct engagement with scientists is critical. We can't wait for the government to solve climate change so we are bringing the science to the people.

In this first session, Bryce Sadtler,  Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Washington University in St. Louis, presents his work on "Generating fuels from sunlight using nanoscale materials." Learn more about the series and background on Professor Sadtler's work here. You can check out the event on Facebook as well.
